When deciding on a script for publication, our first concern is that the work be a finished final draft and be production ready. Scripts should be submitted in a conventional stage play format, and sent electronically as an attachment in MS Word or Rich Text (.rtf) format to RistEntLtd@aol.com.

Submitted work should be unpublished but not necessarily unproduced, and the person making the submission must be the legal copyright holder of the entire work submitted. (See disclosure letter below.)

All playwrights retain full copyright of their texts. Once a play is selected for publication, Ristau Entertainment will place your listing in our online catalogue. We will print, market, and distribute copies of the text, providing the author with a portion of the cover price. Ristau Entertainment will act as agent for the work and pursue production opportunities, license amateur and professional productions, as well as collect performance royalties. Writers will be kept advised of these productions and paid 50% of royalties collected for productions.

Writers will also be placed on our email list to receive regular notices of opportunities for playwrights such as contests, production, and development. We don't charge any fees for these services. We don't distribute plays or any information regarding the writer for any purpose other than legitimate requests for production or orders for printed scripts. All material and information remains strictly confidential.

Before you submit your script to Ristau Entertainment, we want you to take a moment to read the following text, and then cut and paste it into your electronic submission. Doing so protects you and also protects us. We will not consider any submission which does not include this letter as part of the submission package:

Dear Ristau Entertainment, Ltd.,

I am submitting (name of text here,) to you for consideration by your company for publication.

I realize that you select scripts for publication from a large volume of submitted material, and are under no obligation to publish any of it. I recognize that submission of my script does not constitute an agreement of any kind between Ristau Entertainment, myself, or any other party.

I understand that Ristau Entertainment will under no circumstances publish, seek to produce, or license any script for production without a signed agreement between Ristau Entertainment and authors chosen for publication.

By submitting my script to Ristau Entertainment, I represent and warrant (a) that I am the sole copyright holder of this Work, and that my submitted script does not infringe upon any third party's copyright or other property or publicity right; (b) that my Work is original to, and was created and/or written solely by myself; and (c) that this Work is not libelous or unlawful in the United States of America.

I further understand that it is not only possible, but likely, that some other person or persons may have independently conceived of an idea or written a script which is similar or substantially identical to material which I, or some other party, may have submitted to Ristau Entertainment, Ltd.

I agree that I have no right, title, and/or interest in such independently originated material. I further agree that I will not, as part of my submission or through any other means, provide Ristau Entertainment with any materials deemed to be "confidential" or "trade secret" materials.

I also agree to indemnify and hold Ristau Entertianment, Ltd. and its agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, costs, and liabilities that may arise in connection with a breach or repudiation of this Submission Disclosure and Agreement.
